Amazon is No Longer Smiling… but Pawsitive Teams Can Be!

With AmazonSmile shuttering its doors in February 2023, we thought we’d remind you of seven ways you can help us make up the funds we won’t be receiving from Amazon anymore. Thank you! Your support will keep us smiling.

SAN DIEGO GIVES is a nonprofit, San Diego centric, single stop shop to support Pawsitive Teams as well as over 300 other San Diego nonprofits important to you. For the second year, we have been approved to participate. Early giving has started, and the final day is September 7th.

GIVING TUESDAY, the global day of giving, will be on November 28th, and we’ll participate then as well.

EMPLOYEE MATCHING: Are you employed? 65% of companies have a corporate matching program, so your Payroll or HR office can let you know if you work for an organization that matches. There’s usually a form to fill out, and their match could double your donation or more!

NEXTDOOR: Downsizing, cleaning up around your home, moving or …? If you are on Nextdoor.com, select the “Sell for Good” option and choose Pawsitive Teams if you are selling things. Sell for Good, in the “For Sale and Free” area, is where you can buy or sell things and benefit nonprofits! When you sell items on Nextdoor, you can choose to support Pawsitive Teams.

CAREASY: Do you have an old car, boat, or RV? Careasy makes it really easy to rehome it! Go to careasy.org/Pawsitive-Teams-Inc. They will pick up your car, handle the paperwork, sell it, and the proceeds less a small fee will come to us!

CHEWY WISH LIST: Last year, many folks provided us with items listed on our Chewy Wish List. We use these supplies in our work training service dogs, facility dogs, and therapy dogs. Go to our Chewy.com Wish List and you can find our list of much needed items. Or you can send us a Gift Card through our Wish List!

FACEBOOK FUNDRAISER: Finally, you can always create a fundraiser for any occasion on Facebook to benefit Pawsitive Teams.
